Rural Town\Village

The past weekend I decided to throw a few terrain pieces on the table just to get an indication of how things are coming along. Here are a few photos.

All items scratch built except for the telegraph poles, trees and crop\ploughed fields.

Home Improvements

I'm in the process of improving the look of my houses I built awhile back. Adding a bit more detail and color to remove the generic look.

Below is House 1 as it originally looked and how it looks currently.

You would have noticed the roofs are different and in fact they are two different roofs that are interchangeable.

Below is House 3 as it looked originally and how it looks currently.

As you can see the extra detail and color gives it a bit more depth and character.

Will post the other buildings as I get them done.

Italeri to Sell La Haye Saint in 1/72

Italeri have announced they will be selling La Haye Saint to commemorate and celebrate the events 200 year anniversary. Pictures courtesy of Italeri.

6111: Anniversary Box 1/72 scale: house, wall and gate. 4 Figure sets will be included.

 6175: barn 1/72 scale

6176: stables 1/72 scale

If I am correct it will be a scaled down version of Sarissa Presision Ltd's 28mm version
I'm aware that Sarissa are looking to enter the 1/72 scale market and this could possibly be their fist releases.
