Caesar Miniatures have just released their WWII US Paratroopers.
Figures can be viewed on http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/FirstLook.aspx?id=2166
I'm not very impressed with what I see. I'll buy a box just for variation, not as the bulk of a force.
I agree Greg- not hugely impressive, which is a shame as some of their other figure sets are brilliant.
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I have to agree as well, a disappointing release. A pity as I was really impressed with their Brit and US Infantry, and was really looking forward to this set. Is it just me or is there a real shortage of decently sculpted US airborne?
ReplyDeleteHave not purchased the Brits yet. I hope it does not become a regular thing!
ReplyDeleteNot impressive indeed. The one in the middle row, far right, with the indian haircut, looks a bit odd. For me the old Esci set stays the best American paratrooper set I ever seen, and bought.
ReplyDeletePS: for some reason I have problems with your followers section. I always get a fault message. I must try it on another PC one of these days.
Greetings

Imex's "Easy Company" set is the best on the market, bar none.
ReplyDeleteA good set indeed just missing a kneeling rifleman firing his weapon.
