Ever wondered how to make Dragons Teeth? Cutting them from foam can be very tiresome.
Get a rubber waffle pan and simply cast them.
Below are a few pics of the pan and a cast with Airfix beach obstacles, German soldiers and a Revell Panzer III for scale.
Who would of thought it could be that simple.
Nice find.
ReplyDeleteDid the same for my 6mm Dragons' Teeth. Made a plasticene mould and imprinted it with the tetrahedron pieces of the board game Mine a Million/Business Game. Worked really well but the waffle maker idea is even simpler. Nice one!

Good idea!

ReplyDeleteLove the idea!! Two quick questions, what did you use to cast them?
Also was it necessary to put a film of lubricant on the inside to help get them out?
Thanks.
Andrew
Hi Andrew
DeleteHere in SA we have a product called Stone Crete similar to Plaster of Paris just a bit stronger.
No releasing agent used it just pops out.
Cheers
